The Brigand was first designed by some Mech Pirate groups who needed a cheap, reliable, and easy to repair mech for scrapping with other mechs. The Clan saw promise in a captured design, and immediately purchased blueprints and supplies to go ahead with production. The Brigand utilizes many new Clan technolgies, such as the MekTek Omni Sensor suite.
The Clan thanks Primus BuS for providing the Blueprints necessary for building this mech. Some slight alterations were made to the original design.
