The Templar is one of the Clan's newest heavy battlemechs. Designed for the specific mission of a heavy mech buster, the wide spread of weapons is a huge advantage against even assault mechs. With moderate to good armor, the Templar is a new battlefield presence to be feared and respected. Many Clan lance commanders use this mech because of it's superior performance as a command vehicle. Commander Wilhelm is said to have a personal Templar himself.
